We are delighted to announce the seven winners of the second ELSA Industry Call! Last year, many startups and SMEs followed our call. We were curious to see the diversity in research topics, projects statuses, and focuses.
The ELSA Industry Call has been brought to life by the ELSA Innovation Lab to pursue our network’s goal of establishing a close connection between research and industry. The Industry Calls have been a win-win situation for all parties involved. Our researchers gain a deep insight into industries’ pressing challenges and solutions, and our applicants benefit from our researchers’ profound knowledge and expertise.
We closed the call on September 22nd, 2024, reviewed until the beginning of November, and hosted the Jury Day on November 11th. This was also when our seven winners were selected.
Over six months, the winners will work intensely on their projects and will receive support from ELSA as well as their supervisors.
“The ELSA industry calls offer a clear added value to both the ELSA researchers and the applicants. Knowledge, creativity, idea exchange and direct insights into various industries meet directly. We congratulate our winners – all of them have promising ideas. We hope to support them in growing and developing their ideas further”, concludes ELSA-Coordinator Professor Mario Fritz.
