OttCT: Bringing Transparency and Security to the Cryptocurrency World
OttCT is one of five winners of the first ELSA Industry Call and has received 60,000 euros in funding, working together with top AI experts within our Network of Excellence for six months. OttCT is an AI tool for crypto investors that detects false information on crypto companies’ social media, aiding informed decisions and expanding financial opportunities for all.

OttCT’s short summary of the project
“OttCT is a joint venture by the companies Infidia and Deriveum, which met during the EU H2020-supported blockchain accelerator. For the MVP stage of our product, we prepared an advanced AI tool that scans the social media content available on X and analyzes the online activity to detect false information or fraudulent behavior. Within ELSA we upgraded our solution to include additional platforms for analysis (LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit), developed new technical tools for data extraction and took major steps towards safeguarding our AI from data poisoning attacks.
The most important work in ELSA was in the realm of AI data poisoning, guided by our scientific advisor, Professor Battista Biggio, a leading expert in the area.
