Short Summary

Starlab’s summary of the study:
“During the ELSA-funded project we focused on the main areas we outlined in our work plan. In short, here is what we did:

  • significant progress on the fundraising front
  • Vivid Mind established partnering relationships (new or enhanced) with
  • several university and commercial providers
  • access to data points from the Pomeranian Medical University (PUM) and
  • EWA-DB (Early Warning of Alzheimer’s Database)
  • addition of 300 quality data points

We are on our way to improve the key KPIs of our solution, ROC AUC for distinguishing healthy patients from Alzheimer’s or MCI, as well as the corresponding accuracy, which we expect to improve to 82%+ from today’s 78%.

We developed our B2C product in a way that makes it fully ready for commercialization. We have performed a thorough self-audit of our compliance with the Ethics Guidelines for Safe AI. We undertook actions that addressed key gaps and we managed to bridge our performance versus the best-in-class standards in a significant way. Significant progress has been made on the documentation front. Additionally, we have hired a specialized healthcare advisory firm to perform an external audit of our IT processes, with a special stress put on privacy and safety of data we keep.”
