Starlab: Neuroimaging Data Analysis Services
Starlab is one of seven winners of the second ELSA Industry Call and has received 60,000 euros in funding. For the duration of the Industry Call, Starlab has worked together with top AI experts within our Network of Excellence. Starlab combines Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience to facilitate your access to medical class Neurotechnology for Electroencephalography (EEG) and Transcranial Electrical Stimulation (tES).

“This study set out to create an EEG-based AI framework capable of mitigating bias while maintaining robust diagnostic and prognostic performance across diverse datasets and clinical contexts, while at the same time developing a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution adapted to real clinical needs.
Together, these two strands of work yielded a reliable, easy-to-implement SaaS-based AI tool that combines usability in clinical practice with fairness-aware diagnostic modeling. This outcome not only advances the accuracy and inclusivity of EEG-based Alzheimer’s detection but also lays a solid foundation for broader clinical applications in primary care.”
