The European AI Office has announced the inauguration of its AI Act Scientific Panel. Amongst its 60 members is also ELSA Coordinator Mario Fritz.
As part of the European Commission, the AI Office is tasked with implementing the EU AI Act. To support them with their expertise and experience, the AI Office has brought the AI Act Scientific Panel to life. The members of this panel were carefully selected based on criteria such as their research expertise and country of origin. They will be part of the panel for 24 months with the possibility of extension.
